Clear vials are made of Type 1 borosilicate glass with 20 mm crimp seal finish and are designed to fit most headspace autosamplers. Flat bottom vials maximize heating efficiency when used with bottom. Round bottom vials are more easily handled by robotic arms that lift the vial from the tray.

18mm Screw Thread Headspace Vials (5) Headspace vials and closures must form a tight seal for accurate analysis with reproducible results. Available in clear or amber Type I borosilicate glass with crimp or screw thread finishes. The vials are used to heat the sample until the concentration of the liquid and gas phases are in equilibrium.

All vials are Type 1 borosilicate glass and the range is extensive enough to cover all major manufacturer’s instruments, including Shimadzu, Aijiren, PE, CTC and Tekmar headspace instruments. Vials are available in 10 and 20ml sizes with either round or flat-bottom profile.
