Description. Unlike crimp cap vials, Thermo Scientific™ National 18mm Screw Top Headspace Vials require no tools for closure. Manufactured with superior quality (Type 1, Class A) glass, they are available with a round bottom in sizes with usable volumes of 10mL or 20mL.

Headspace vials and closures must form a tight seal for accurate analysis with reproducible results. Available in clear or amber Type I borosilicate glass with crimp or screw thread finishes. The vials are used to heat the sample until the concentration of the liquid and gas phases are in equilibrium.
